Musical Theater Dance

Musical theater (aka musical theatre) combines acting with singing and dancing. It’s a drama-based genre where music plays a big role in moving the story forward. Musical theater students learn to create emotions and tell stories through movement, while controlling breath and reserving energy. Dance is an important part of musical theater, bringing excitement and motion.
